Responsibilities
- Play a key role in our Belgium business by leading Enterprise Architecture across key client projects
- Drive strategic advisory by partnering with clients' senior stakeholders to understand their business goals, challenges, and constraints whilst sharping technology strategy and roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Participate in senior-level forums, councils and meetings to present, facilitate and report on the progress of the target architecture adoption
- Partner with multi-disciplinary teams including architecture, technology consulting, delivery management, product management and development teams
- Prepare, present and effectively communicate on architecture-related issues and risks to senior forums and management committees
- Oversee architecture vision and governance by defining enterprise-level architecture blueprints whilst establishing architectural governance frameworks, standards and best practices
- Oversee solution alignment by ensuring all solutions and platforms align with enterprise architecture and review and guide solution designs created by delivery teams
- Provide technology leadership, ensuring direction to solution and technical architects and stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks and tools
- Act as a liaison between business leaders and technology teams
- Direct our technology consultancy efforts in pre-sales pursuits, create and present architecture proposals and proof-of-concepts as required
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or relevant work experience)
- Fluent English speaker as well as either Dutch or French
- Extensive Enterprise Architecture experience ideally with a background or good understanding of Solution Architecture and Software Engineering
- Experience in a one or two industry sectors (Retail or Insurance being a strong advantage) with excellent understanding of major functional capabilities and common platform solutions across those sectors
- Well-versed in the development of Enterprise Architecture, including governance, business drivers, technology and change management processes
- Experience in managing and leading teams of experts in architecture and technology consulting
- Strong client-facing experience with the ability to influence and guide teams toward the right technical solutions, paired with a consultative, problem-solving approach that balances both short-term needs and long-term strategic goals
- Pre-sales experience with the ability to act in an advisory capacity to senior level client management whilst executing and leading on rapid conceptual designs, proof-of-concepts and client presentations
- Certifications in architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
