We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to become an integral part of one of our product teams, influencing technical solutions and guiding product development in collaboration with international teams across Europe.
This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

  • Increase the team's capability in managing the phase-out of legacy WSX, IIS, and .NET Framework applications via DevOps initiatives
  • Facilitate the transition of WSX server-based applications to .NET Core as applicable
  • Lead efforts to retire our outdated WSX server-based applications
  • Enhance the velocity of implementation for solutions while ensuring quality and reducing technical debt

  • Expertise in legacy .NET Framework & .NET Core
  • Proficiency in MVC, Web Forms, IIS and familiarity with COM+
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DevOps principles
  • Background in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automation
  • Skills in octopus, Bamboo, and Team City
  • Competency in Cloud computing with a focus on AWS
  • Familiarity with Grafana, Kibana, and Datadog
  • Experience in unit & automation testing in collaboration with QA (using N-unit, X-unit, regression frameworks)
  • Capability to drive and contribute to architecture and solution design
  • Showcase of well-tested, scalable, and performant code development
  • Understanding of security best practices
  • Qualifications in using Git for version control and a background in Scrum and/or Kanban
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and MS Teams
  • Proficiency in English for effective collaboration with international teams
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Terraform
  • Knowledge of Nginx as a reverse proxy
  • Experience in migrating .NET Framework applications to .NET Core
  • Good understanding of modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
