We are in search of a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to become part of a premier global investment firm. The selected candidate will be instrumental in enhancing and automating operations, ensuring seamless continuous integration and deployment across diverse platforms. This role provides an opportunity to engage with sophisticated cloud technologies and make substantial contributions to the firm's operational efficiency and security. The position requires the candidate to be available during US business hours as this is when most activities are conducted.

Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development and execution of scalable DevOps practices and procedures
- Manage and enhance cloud-based infrastructure, primarily using AWS and Kubernetes
- Construct and sustain strong CI/CD pipelines to improve software deployment and integration
- Work collaboratively with software development teams to embed DevOps practices
- Streamline deployment processes through the use of Argo CD and other automation tools
- Proactively monitor and address operational challenges promptly
- Uphold stringent security protocols across all infrastructure facets
- Create and update documentation on DevOps strategies and procedures to meet operational objectives

- At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role
- Expertise in managing cloud environments with AWS and orchestrating containers with Kubernetes (K8S)
- Proficient in automating deployment processes using Argo CD
- Extensive experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
- Well-versed in version control systems, especially GitHub and Gitlab
- Competent in using Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Excellent command of English, both in verbal and written form, appropriate for international business communications
- Proficiency in automating configuration management with Ansible
- In-depth understanding of advanced container orchestration with Kubernetes
- Capability to guide and mentor junior team members, setting a strong example in a dynamic environment
