Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Managed Service team. In this pivotal role, you will guide the CI/CD operations and SRE processes within the Software & Internet Sector. The ideal candidate will take the lead in optimizing our service delivery, ensuring reliability, and streamlining the integration and deployment pipelines.
This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to containerization, integration complexities, security vulnerabilities, and environment configurations
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integrations and deployments
  • Configure and manage environments alongside the infrastructure teams
  • Align with project managers on project timelines and deliverables
  • Support operations teams in troubleshooting and incident management
  • Monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and infrastructure automation tools
  • Lead and ensure efficient resolution of complex issues as part of second line/environments support engineering activities
  • Provide on-call support for 7-10 days per month covering urgency issues (alarmed when there's an issue with the service, no continuous monitoring is needed )

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a DevOps or similar role
  • Competency in Apache Maven, Docker, and Jenkins
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and different scripting languages
  • Understanding of security vulnerabilities associated with cloud and container environments
  • Strong communication and organization skills, ability to lead effectively
  • Flexibility to quickly switch between different contexts and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Java
  • Background in Node.js
