We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our Global Banking/Technology Service team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in migrating and re-engineering large-scale content management and cutting-edge services. You will leverage your expertise in Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint, Exchange, MS Office 365, Azure, and other products to develop business-critical products & services in a dynamic and productive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement migration strategies for transitioning from on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online
  • Automate migration processes using PowerShell, Azure DevOps, and other relevant tools
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, architects, and quality assurance professionals
  • Investigate and resolve technical problems swiftly and efficiently
  • Maintain a sharp focus on application design, security, and performance

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar position
  • Experience in designing and implementing migration strategies for SharePoint
  • Proficiency in automating migration processes using PowerShell and Azure DevOps
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure (Container Apps, AD, ACR, APIM, AFD, Networking, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Bicep and Terraform
  • Experience in conducting security scans using tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Snyck, Mend, etc
  • Expertise in building solutions ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption during the migration process
  • Experience with CI/CD: Gitlab/Github/Azure DevOps - yaml pipelines
  • Proficiency in optimizing SharePoint Online environment for performance and scalability
  • Strong PowerShell and shell-scripting skills, including SharePoint deployment automation
  • Solid background in Agile/Extreme programming
  • History of working in a distributed (onshore/offshore) team environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarize technical information for various stakeholders
  • Fluent English at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Experience in designing and implementation of migration strategies for transitioning from on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online
  • Certifications in relevant technologies
