Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic international team.

In this role, you will help support and evolve our engineering platform, working closely with IT and Development Leads, as well as Business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently and possesses exemplary technical and communication skills.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and streamline processes and operations
  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and robust infrastructure solutions using cloud technologies
  • Manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to optimize software development and deployment
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on DevOps best practices
  • Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure protection against cyber threats
  • Conduct system audits and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and security
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the DevOps process and systems
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of production experience in a DevOps role
  • Proficiency in AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes
  • Competency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
  • Skills in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
  • Background in Linux/Unix administration and system troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Understanding of network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP)
  • Capability to work within Agile methodologies including SCRUM or Kanban
  • Qualifications in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Experience with Jira API or a desire to learn
