We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our cutting-edge Engineering Core Compute team.
With 1500 customers and frequent use by Field Sales Engineers, this role involves restructuring the product unit to run support autonomously. As a key team member, you'll drive critical improvements and ensure robust, scalable system performance across diverse platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage Microsoft SQL Server deployments on various operating systems including Linux (RedHat, SUSE SLES, Ubuntu) and Windows on GCP VMs
  • Implement automatic deployments for MS SQL Always On Availability Groups (AOAG) and Failover Cluster with Pacemaker Linux cluster software
  • Conduct performance testing for MS SQL Server utilizing HammerDB and TPCC tests
  • Carry out system optimization for MS SQL Server on Linux platforms
  • Ensure the reliability and stability of windows clustering and network setups

  • System administrator-level understanding of Windows structures
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server installation and maintenance
  • Proficiency in basic networking concepts and their practical applications
  • Exposure to performance testing methodologies
  • Capability to implement shared storage solutions and maintain active directory setups
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies with basic experience in at least one major provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with bash scripting and general Linux usage
Nice to have
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
  • Understanding of Terraform for infrastructure management
  • Experience with active directory and shared storage configurations
