We are looking for an experienced Senior DBA Developer to join our team and take charge of deploying DDL code changes into client database systems, primarily AWS RDS.
The ideal candidate will not only adhere to coding standards but will also serve as the primary point of contact for developers regarding database changes. This role requires a deep understanding of best practices in design, performance, and database management.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities
- Script and test database changes into Oracle OCI and AWS RDS, focusing on MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Ensure all changes adhere to the DDL change process and ITIL change management process
- Collaborate with front-end development teams to maintain code quality
- Create and distribute DDL change templates to stakeholders
- Automate code deployment using Flyway and Git
- Write custom scripts to automate routine database tasks
- Maintain the database refresh process
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions within SLAs
- Monitor database performance and optimize as necessary
- Participate in project lifecycle activities from design to implementation
- Provide support and guidance to junior DBA team members

- 3+ years of relevant experience in Database Support and Development
- Proficiency in AWS RDS for MySQL (Aurora), PostgreSQL, and Oracle
- Experience administering cloud-based database solutions, especially Amazon RDS
- Familiarity with Oracle OCI
- Knowledge of the ITIL framework
- Strong background in database design, development, and implementation
- Linux O/S basic knowledge
- Understanding of GDPR for database applications
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Experience with database monitoring tools such as OEM, Foglight, AppDynamics
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
- Experience with Agile/Kanban methodologies
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and Confluence
