We are seeking a Senior DBA & Cloud Migration Specialist to join our team.
You will play a crucial role in delivering database-related solutions within our Enterprise Infrastructure Services group. Your proficiency in database administration and migration will be vital in meeting client demands and ensuring seamless operations.

Responsibilities

Provide rotational 24 x 7 on-call support for production databases
Plan database technology initiatives and consulting assignments
Administer Microsoft SQL Server databases
Design MySQL and Oracle database platforms
Develop database disaster recovery strategies and test procedures
Manage database security and access controls
Support DBMS environments across Z/OS, Windows, Linux, AIX, and ESX platforms
Collaborate with stakeholders to advance database-focused initiatives
Prioritize tasks to align with business goals
Introduce solutions to optimize database performance
Facilitate database migrations to cloud environments
Enforce database security protocols

3+ years of professional experience in Database Administration
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server with advanced expertise
Background in MySQL and Oracle Database Platform
Competency in creating and testing database disaster recovery plans
Understanding of database security administration principles
Capability to work across various operating system platforms such as Z/OS, Windows, Linux, AIX, and ESX
Familiarity with cloud database migration processes
Professional-level English proficiency

Nice to have

Microsoft SQL Server certification
Understanding of Azure cloud services
Expertise in MongoDB database technologies
Skills in identifying and addressing database performance bottlenecks
Flexibility to use agile project management techniques
