We are seeking a Senior DBA & Cloud Migration Specialist to join our team.
You will play a key role in providing database-related services within our Enterprise Infrastructure Services group. Your expertise in database administration and migration will be essential in supporting our clients' needs and ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities

Provide 24 x 7 rotational on-call support for production databases
Plan and support database technology projects and consulting
Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases
Design and maintain MySQL and Oracle database platforms
Develop and test database disaster recovery plans
Manage database security administration tasks
Support DBMS environments on Z/OS, Windows, Linux, AIX, and ESX platforms
Collaborate with stakeholders to drive database-related initiatives
Analyze and prioritize tasks to meet business objectives
Implement innovative solutions to enhance database performance
Assist in migrating databases to cloud environments
Ensure compliance with database security protocols

3+ years of experience in Database Administration
Experience in Microsoft SQL Server with advanced proficiency
Background in MySQL and Oracle Database Platform
Experience in database disaster recovery planning
Familiarity with database security administration
Capability to support various operating systems including Z/OS, Windows, Linux, AIX, and ESX
Understanding of cloud migration processes
English proficiency at a professional level

Nice to have

Certification in Microsoft SQL Server
Knowledge of Azure cloud services
Skills in MongoDB
Experience with database performance tuning
Familiarity with agile project management methodologies
