The chosen applicant will be tasked with upgrading and maintaining current systems, as well as enhancing our data acquisition and usage processes to accommodate increasing demands.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and upgrading of pre-existing data systems
• Development of new features for the existing Data Platform
• Introduction of changes required to facilitate growing data consumption and acquisition
• Resolution of intricate data challenges and conducting root cause analysis in the Generated Business Record (Gold layer)
• Participation in executing new demands from Data Consumers or the Platform team
• Handling complex datasets, including the development of new datasets from the ground up
• Coordinating with senior team members on sophisticated projects, particularly those involving the incorporation of substantial new datasets
• Adjusting to new tools and methodologies appearing in the technology landscape
• Providing development support for current pipelines to troubleshoot tough data-related issues

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Data Software Engineering
• Proficiency in PySpark
• Knowledge of the Azure cloud stack
• Expertise in handling large and complex datasets
• Capability to collaborate effectively within a team and with various stakeholders
• Background in upgrading and maintaining data systems
• Understanding of evolving data consumption requirements
• Skills in tackling and dissecting complex data issues
• Fluent English communication abilities at B2+ level
