We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Modeler to enhance a multidisciplinary team, utilizing agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design data models in line with industry best practices, with a specific emphasis on expertise in Kimball Dimensional Modeling
• Engage with data consumers to establish requirements, targets, and interface specifications, and to conduct requirement checks and design sessions
• Create robust SQL code to define data structures in line with the models and to transform data from the stage to the marts
• Author and execute unit tests to verify the accuracy of the code
• Assess data sources, evaluate quality, and determine the most effective approach for integration
• Create Source to Target Mappings from data models as data integration (ETL) specifications
• Develop strategies for integrating data from diverse data sources and data warehouses
• Contribute to the establishment of data models and standards that streamline the integration of extensive and varied data repositories

• 3+ years of proven experience in data modeling, with a focus on dimensional data modeling
• Proficiency in SQL, writing stored procedures, ETL, and SCD
• Demonstrated experience in working on Data Warehouses
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Cloud Architecture (AWS S3, Databricks, AWS Redshift)
• Experience with SAP Power Designer, Erwin, or equivalent tools
• Exposure to DBT (Data Build Tool) development
• Proficiency in data warehouse concepts, practices, and coding
• Familiarity with Airflow
• Experience with databases such as Redshift, Teradata, and/or Oracle
• Understanding of software engineering and testing practices within an Agile environment
• Proficiency in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
