Senior Data Integration Engineer

Kardítsa, Greece

We are actively seeking a diligent and meticulous Data Integration Engineer to become a part of our team.
The ideal candidate will take charge of designing, implementing, and maintaining data integration pipelines that bolster our data-centric applications. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee data accuracy and accessibility throughout our platforms.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Greece.

Responsibilities

  • Design, construct, and sustain effective data pipelines utilizing Python, SQL, and Databricks
  • Implement and administer integration architectures utilizing Apache Airflow and AWS Glue
  • Supervise data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
  • Work together with IT and Data teams to introduce scalable solutions in AWS environments
  • Suggest best practices for data engineering projects
  • Enhance data flows to amplify performance and scalability
  • Document data integration strategies, procedures, and settings
  • Address troubleshooting and debugging of data issues

  • Proficiency in Python / Pyspark and ETL processing with 4+ years of hands-on experience
  • Competency in Data Integration (ETL/ELT) Platforms
  • Skills in AWS or other public cloud provider
  • Understanding of Apache Airflow, Power BI, SQL
  • Background in designing and constructing data pipelines
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data integration solutions and architectures
  • Proven capability to manage multiple data integration projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Experience with Databricks
  • Competency in using Apache Kafka
