We are seeking a remote Senior Data DevOps Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be vital in defining and implementing the architecture of our projects. Working closely with customers, peers, and vendors, you will resolve complex issues, develop strategic solutions, and maintain technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot data systems, proactively identifying and resolving performance, scalability, and reliability issues
• Design, deploy, and manage data infrastructure in the cloud, primarily using one of the major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure and applications
• Install, configure, and maintain data tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, ELK Stack, Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, or similar tools in both on-premises and cloud environments
• Provide the security, availability, and performance of data platforms
• Automate and streamline data-related processes, ensuring scalability and reliability
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their data infrastructure needs

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in designing and implementing Data DevOps solutions
• Expertise in cloud platforms, such as Azure, GCP, or AWS
• Knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools like Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Infrastructure as Code experience with tools like Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc
• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar cloud-based CI/CD tools
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Deep understanding of network protocols and mechanisms, such as TCP, UDP, ICMP, DHCP, DNS, and NAT
• Experience installing and configuring data tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, ELK Stack, Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, or similar tools
• Professional knowledge of the Linux operating system
• Experience with SQL
• Upper-Intermediate level proficiency in English
