We are currently seeking a highly technical, proactive and people-smart Data Delivery Director with expertise in the Retail and Consumer Products industry to join our UK Data practice. As a key member of our team, you will manage complex data programs, projects and multiple workstreams across various domains, as well as work with both local and global delivery teams.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end client delivery throughout the entire project lifecycle and manage the client relationship and expectations, representing delivery at the governance level
- Coordinate multiple activity streams and clients, ensuring seamless delivery across all aspects, including finance, sourcing, implementation and business outcomes
- Proactively identify and manage engagement risks, escalating major issues early on
- Participate in business development efforts for both existing clients and new projects, continuously identifying new opportunities
- Lead and manage teams, including hiring, mentoring, performance management and provide strategic direction, set goals, and ensure the team's efforts align with the organization's data strategy

- Proven track record of managing complex data projects from initiation to delivery and ability to collaborate with data engineers and scientists
- Proficiency in data management concepts, including data governance, data quality, data integration and data lifecycle management
- Experience in implementing data delivery pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes
- Knowledge of data modelling and database design principles
- Solid understanding of data technologies, including databases (SQL, NoSQL), data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and ETL tools
- Knowledge of cloud Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data-related services
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools
- Proven track record in digital delivery of commerce, content and marketing solutions for clients in consumer packaged goods (PCG) and retail sectors
