We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Content Editor to join our banking client's software localization in Zurich.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing and editing content for digital products in English, ensuring clarity, accessibility and a seamless user experience. This role requires a native English speaker with an excellent command of German and a passion for technology and user experience.

Responsibilities
- Develop and refine content for diverse digital platforms, providing clear, user-friendly and jargon-free text
- Translate and adapt content from German to English while maintaining consistency in tone, style, and terminology
- Implement accessible content strategies for users with disabilities, including plain language use and alternative text options for visual content
- Collaborate with design and development teams, UX writers, and localization experts, supporting product goals and enhancing user experience
- Efficiently handle translation requests to ensure content is delivered in a timely manner with a focus on quality
- Keep abreast of technological advancements in the language and localization industry, applying best practices and tools to support content quality assurance
- Employ a user-centric approach by focusing on understanding user behaviors, needs, and preferences throughout content development

- 3+ years of experience in editing, localization
- Native English proficiency with an excellent command of German
- Demonstrated proficiency with language-related CAT tools and AI tools
- Strong project management capabilities paired with a keen interest in technological innovations
- A commitment to learn about and integrate machine translation technology and post-editing best practices
- Sensitivity to the various needs of diverse user groups
- Interest and experience in multilingual terminology management
- Structured, autonomous and detail-oriented work approach, with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently while effectively communicating and negotiating with internal stakeholders
- Knowledge of additional foreign languages
