Responsibilities
- Participate and contribute in Cloud Platform & Product Architecture for cloud-based applications
- Provide expertise and leadership regarding Cloud Architecture for both infrastructure and applications in GCP
- Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud computing across multiple streams (cloud native)
- Develop technical roadmaps for future GCP cloud implementations, and act as a subject-matter expert around GCP
- Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions
- Define technology standards and the future state of Cloud Services
- Create and maintain guidelines, reference architectures, guiding principles, and solution building blocks as well as technology roadmaps for automation and programmable infrastructure in addition to confidential research, cost-justify, and drive technological improvements through position papers
- Cooperate with enterprise architecture to ensure overall fit & integration and define target architectures
- Standardize automation capabilities and create automation best practices
- Create and supervise design within the DevOps teams and projects/programs, and communicate the decisions and their impact to stakeholders
- Assist with application team intakes regarding improving their automation capabilities
- Create a solution design together with the application team that has the best fit for their application with the currently provided services
- Detect new needed cloud services to be developed and aligned with CCoE product owner
- Review and/or approve technical solutions - assurance of compliance with directives, standards, and guidelines and ensure that the implementation is in line with the design
- Maintain of design documents within the domain

- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Cloud Platform & Product Architect
- Experience in setting up enterprise-level account structures and security models in GCP
- Experience in configuring and using PaaS offerings
- In-depth knowledge of cloud-based delivery models
- Extensive knowledge of cloud-based data integration patterns and architectures
- Troubleshooting complex scenarios related to an Application Deployment
- Engineering and coding skills applied in an agile way
- Knowledge of and experience with IT architecture methodologies and processes (e.g. TOGAF) for supporting cloud architecture and supporting other target architectures to incorporate cloud services
- Proven track record in road mapping, technical architecture design, solution definition, project management/execution, change/risk management
- Work experience from large, international companies and have dealt with or worked for global service providers
- Knowledge and certification of minimal ArchiMate 2.1 or willing to certify
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT, Business Management, Computer Science, or Electronics
- Onsite in San Jose, CA 2 days per week
