We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the security of our IT systems, optimizing access control, and ensuring compliance with relevant security standards. This position will require regular collaboration with IT, DevOps, and various other teams to seamlessly integrate security measures into our operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust security policies, standards, and procedures
• Efficiently manage and triage cybersecurity-related requests across multiple teams
• Develop and audit automation scripts and tools, primarily in Python, to streamline security processes
• Define and enforce access control policies ensuring alignment with the principles of least privilege and separation of duties
• Ensure compliance with regulations and assist in both internal and external audits
• Regularly monitor and analyze security metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement solutions for enhancement
• Collaborate with various teams to integrate security into development and operational processes to enhance overall security posture

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in cybersecurity operations or related fields
• Preference for certifications including CISSP, CEH, or CISM
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks
• Proven experience in project management, designing workflows, and updating organizational procedures
• Availability to work during US EST working hours
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

• Familiarity with cloud security practices and solutions
• Experience with scripting and automating security processes in other languages aside from Python
• Prior involvement in cross-functional projects aimed at improving IT security
