We are actively seeking an experienced Senior C/C++ Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development of high-performance distributed storage systems for enterprise environments, contributing to design, optimization, and architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

Participate in the development of distributed storage systems, driving design and optimization
Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance meet industry standards
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to steer the development process and achieve project objectives
Identify performance bottlenecks in code and optimize for multi-core and scale-out use cases
Lead the design and implementation of high-performance distributed storage systems
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed environments
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and best practices

Proven expertise in C or C++ programming and strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals
Extensive experience in debugging and troubleshooting in distributed environments
Proficiency in developing fault-tolerant and high available distributed systems
In-depth understanding of distributed systems, multi-threading, concurrency, and RPC
Experience in software development for Linux/Unix platforms
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl, and Bash
Strong English communication skills

Nice to have

Experience in writing and debugging kernel-level code
Knowledge of computer networking technologies and protocols
Familiarity with Virtual File System (VFS) and memory management in Linux kernel
Expertise in storage technologies and high-performance networking
Extensive knowledge of distributed algorithms and protocols
