We are on the lookout for a skilled Senior C++ Software Engineer with deep expertise in Site Reliability Engineering, Borg, Spanner, and Google Cloud Platform.
As a critical member of our Engineering team, you'll engage with a prestigious global Google infrastructure project, deploying various cutting-edge backend and cloud technologies. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and making meaningful improvements to enhance the platform's stability and reliability.

Responsibilities
- Join and contribute as a member of a Scrum team
- Undertake development and reliability engineering tasks for infrastructure projects
- Address issues identified by end users and heartbeat services
- Cooperate with fellow developers and teams to grasp stakeholder requirements and deliver new or enhanced features
- Offer ideal solutions based on existing customer infrastructure
- Provide on-call support as needed for urgent issue resolution
- Constant enhancement of site reliability engineering expertise

- Minimum 3 years' C++ experience, covering concurrency, design patterns, memory management, exceptions, templates, STL, and performance optimization
- Profound grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with familiarity in Version Control Systems like GitHub and Agile frameworks like SCRUM and Kanban
- Background in working with Google Cloud Platform, specifically Google Cloud Run and Spanner
- Proficiency in SQL, covering joins, subqueries, and aggregate functions
- Understanding of Google's internal development tools such as Borg, Forge, TAP, Guitar, Piper, Cider, Critique, and GCL
- Enhanced background in Google Cloud Platform tools like Cloud Storage and Compute Engine
- Advanced SQL techniques
