We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Build Engineer to spearhead the development of a new platform using Azure Container Apps (ACA). This role involves driving the transition from Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to ACA, focusing on creating a robust and scalable serverless solution for customer adoption.

Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure Azure cloud infrastructure
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments integrating tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitLab
- Collaborate with the development team to containerize applications using Docker and manage their deployment to ACA
- Implement infrastructure automation with Terraform, ARM, or Bicep and automate tasks using scripting
- Set up and configure monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and oversee logging and alerting systems
- Ensure security best practices are applied to containers, providing compliance with standards such as GDPR and HIPAA
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams for efficient cloud operations and support
- Monitor, optimize, and fine-tune ACA clusters for improved performance and cost efficiency
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure and deployment processes while sharing knowledge and cloud best practices

- 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management and cloud-native technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Azure Container Apps
- Expertise in CI/CD practices and tools including GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker
- Background in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
- Experience in implementing security, compliance measures, and role-based access controls within ACA
- Skills in performance tuning and cost optimization for cloud resources
- Competency in monitoring, logging, and using tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Familiarity with Azure Container Registry and Azure Kubernetes Service
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance using additional tools
