Senior Backend Developer (Python, Snowflake, API)

We are in search of a Senior Backend Developer skilled in Python, Snowflake SDK, and API development.
The selected individual will play a critical role in crafting robust backend services, ensuring seamless API integrations, and managing the development of scalable systems. Required is a proactive leader adept at steering architectural choices, coaching team members, and effectively cooperating with different departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services with Python to achieve high performance and reliability
• Optimize and manage Snowflake SDK for database clients
• Build scalable backend abstraction layers to improve system extensibility and modularity
• Integrate API endpoints with Apigee and execute effective data operations
• Implement log aggregation and monitoring tools to maintain system observability
• Enhance API consumption and data processing to increase system efficiency
• Uphold scalability, modularity, and maintainability in system architecture
• Conduct regular testing and validation of backend logic utilizing Snowflake
• Work collaboratively with teams to ensure backend development aligns with business objectives

• Background in software development for over 3 years
• Expertise in Python and Snowflake SDK
• Proficiency in API development, including both designing and consuming RESTful services
• Knowledge of modular architecture, prioritizing scalable and maintainable solutions
• Understanding of Apigee for efficient API integration and data management
• Demonstrable knowledge of logging, monitoring, and system observability best practices
• Capability to work autonomously, deciding on crucial architectural issues, and mentoring junior developers
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive attitude toward technical challenges
