We are in search of a skilled and team-oriented Senior Backend Developer specializing in Go to enhance our development team. Our client is a distinguished healthcare organization that runs a telemedicine platform. This role demands availability until 4 pm PST/PDT.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain a robust testing infrastructure for unit and automated tests
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and high-performance services
• Collaborate with various teams to consider the broader implications of design choices
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality and to disseminate knowledge
• Advocate for engineering best practices and strive to elevate engineering standards
• Foster a culture of operational excellence through rigorous testing and monitoring of systems, comprehensive documentation, and readiness to provide on-call support

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Backend Developer with extensive expertise in Go
• Proficiency with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• In-depth knowledge of database management
• Experience with gRPC
• Proven track record in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based web services and microservices, with a preference for those with AWS experience
• Capability to work autonomously and interact directly with clients
• Proficient English communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at an upper-intermediate level or above

• Familiarity with React, TypeScript, and Python
• Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL
