Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer for a managed services role in the Financial Services Industry.
Our software is the heart of Investment Bank - we are in charge of reporting each and every OTC (Over-the-counter) transaction.
As regulations cover all aspects of the firm, the role will allow you to gain an understanding of financial products as millions of records are processed daily with strict SLA, requiring the use of the latest stream processing technologies whilst being supported by the Engineers from within the team and across the firm.
This position offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client's office in Wrocław.

  • Collaborate with the CI/CD engineering chapter to develop and enhance the CI/CD toolchain for modern software engineering
  • Assist in implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and practices
  • Manage and maintain configuration management using Ansible
  • Contribute to the deployment of application code to AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
  • Support and work closely with agile programs and software engineering teams
  • Help ensure efficient and high-quality delivery of solutions and changes to the business
  • Utilize Gitlab and Azure DevOps for CI/CD processes
  • Create and maintain scripts using Bash and PowerShell
  • Utilize Java programming language for development and automation
  • Implement container-based architecture and deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
Requirements
  • 4 years of experience in Azure Cloud Platform foundational products (AKS, Azure Databases, Virtual Networks, Function App, Webapp, etc)
  • Continuously improve the CI/CD toolchain and services in close collaboration with the agile teams, software engineers and architects
  • Solid experience with at least one automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible or Azure automation
  • Knowledge of Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell or ARM
  • Experience with containers and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Helm charts, GitOps)
  • Excellent Linux and Windows system administration including Bash, PowerShell (or Python)
  • A flexible, resilient team player with strong interpersonal skills taking initiative to drive things forward independently adopting principles such as servant leadership
