We are searching for a Senior AWS Platform Engineer to join our collaborative team.
In this role, you will manage and optimize self-hosted large language model (LLM) internal services while contributing to their design, development, and implementation. Working closely with data scientists, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring our AWS platform supports cutting-edge data solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize AWS accounts, ensuring efficient setup, administration, and permission management
  • Design and manage compute, storage, and service infrastructure within AWS
  • Collaborate with central infrastructure and Data Platform teams to align on best practices
  • Leverage AWS Glue, Batch, and Lambda to support data-driven workflows and pipelines
  • Build and maintain IaC solutions using Terraform, ensuring alignment with CI/CD pipelines via Atlassian Bamboo
  • Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning and testing in line with industry standards
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering knowledge sharing across engineering disciplines
  • Communicate technical solutions and challenges to Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve issues related to infrastructure and platform performance
  • Facilitate seamless integration of AWS AI services such as SageMaker into data science workflows
  • Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of solutions aligned with stakeholder requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, Data Engineering, or a related field
  • High proficiency in AWS administration, including permission management, compute, and storage setup
  • Expertise in AWS Glue, Batch, and Lambda for data-side operations
  • Proficiency in Terraform for IaC, CI/CD tools like Atlassian Bamboo, and test automation best practices
  • Background in Python development from a professional environment
  • Familiarity with AWS AI services (e.g., SageMaker) and an understanding of Data Science workflows
  • Strong problem-solving, proactivity, and ownership in managing large-scale cloud infrastructure
  • Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level or higher), both written and verbal
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with integrating self-hosted AI/LLM solutions into cloud infrastructure
  • Experience in stakeholder collaboration to align infrastructure designs with business goals
  • Understanding of cross-team collaboration in empowered Scrum teams
