We are looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud solutions using AWS services. This role focuses on modernizing legacy monolith systems, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring high-performance deployment pipelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement microservices architecture, enhance automation, and drive cloud-native development aligned with AWS best practices.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop microservices architecture following the strangler fig tree pattern to incrementally replace legacy monolith systems
- Develop, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance code in Java to support the transformation and migration processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with AWS best practices for cloud-native applications
- Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code with a focus on performance optimization and fault tolerance
- Conduct code reviews, unit tests, and integration tests to ensure the quality and functionality of the developed solutions
- Work closely with database engineers and DevOps teams to ensure robust CI/CD deployment pipelines for the microservices
- Monitor the performance of data pipelines and microservices, and troubleshoot any issues that arise

- 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on microservices and data transformation
- Strong experience in Java programming and familiarity with microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, Lambda, and S3
- Understanding of the strangler fig tree pattern and its application in legacy system modernization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills to work with development, QA, BA, and DevOps teams
- Experience in designing and implementing ETL processes and CDC pipelines
- Prior experience in cloud-native application development on AWS
