Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS Cloud administration and automation to strengthen our team.
In this role, you'll engineer and operate our automated deployment framework, implement DevOps strategies and participate in service design and planning.
This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

  • Implement a DevOps strategy with Infrastructure as Code and an automation framework using a declarative model, state and orchestrator
  • Convert business requirements into Infrastructure as Code, delivering modular, scalable and future-proof solutions with architects' input
  • Take part in service designing, future strategy planning, capacity and performance prediction
  • Manage knowledge transfer and mentoring for other DevOps engineers and teams
  • Drive changes and continuous improvements of the development process

  • 3+ years of overall experience in DevOps or similar roles
  • Expertise in AWS Cloud administration and automation
  • Proficiency in Linux
  • Strong knowledge of source control management and its impact on SDLC and DevOps
  • Background in Chef, Ansible, Puppet or other configuration management tools
  • Skills in Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Production experience with Elastic tools (Filebeat, Logstash, Kibana, Elasticsearch)
  • Showcase of using monitoring tools like Grafana, Zabbix, Prometheus
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins
  • Familiarity with Go, Python, Java
  • Understanding of Agile best practices
  • English level - B2 and higher
