We are in search of an experienced Senior Automation Tester with a strong background in Python to join our remote team at EPAM. As a vital member of our team, you will be engaged in extensive testing initiatives for a new client, tackling various domains and workflows that encompass application integration and thorough validation of business processes. This position offers an excellent chance to make a significant impact in the quality assurance field and aid in developing top-tier software products.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Python-based automation frameworks to boost testing efficacy
  • Lead and coordinate the Quality Engineering (QE) team's efforts, ensuring tasks are effectively prioritized and managed
  • Regularly report on testing progress to the Lead and Delivery Manager
  • Participate actively in the entire QE process, focusing on analyzing user stories, business processes, and conducting detailed testing
  • Create and sustain detailed test cases and scenarios
  • Maintain adherence to and enforcement of established testing protocols and standards
  • Evaluate test cases created by colleagues and provide insightful feedback
  • Maintain an organized central repository for all test cases to ensure efficient retrieval and usage
  • Conduct tests, record defects, and comprehensively document all observations
  • Demonstrate test findings and progress at the end of each sprint

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related area
  • At least 3 years' experience in Automation Testing
  • Proficient in defect management, with strong capabilities in tracking and resolving issues
  • Significant experience in the healthcare payer field, with a thorough understanding of medical claims processing and provider management
  • Skilled in creating detailed test cases and scenarios
  • Ability to provide precise test estimations to facilitate project management
  • Highly proficient in English, with strong communication skills at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to improve testing processes on cloud-based platforms
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools to ascertain optimal performance of applications under various conditions
