Senior Automation Tester in Java

We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester proficient in Java to join our progressive team. As a critical contributor, you will help build the next-generation platform to solve enterprise-wide challenges, with a focus on cloud-based data solutions and automated testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, and plans for both manual and automated testing
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions
• Automate front-end and back-end testing processes across cloud-based platforms
• Identify, log, and track bugs using relevant tools, working closely with development teams to resolve issues
• Enhance testing processes by integrating tools such as Cucumber and Git to streamline workflows
• Conduct load and performance testing using established frameworks and analyze outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout software development cycles
• Recommend QA methodologies, tools, and processes improvements based on industry best practices

• Proficiency in Java test automation with at least 3 years of experience in software testing roles
• Expertise in automation tools (e.g., Cucumber) and familiarity with load testing frameworks
• Background in front-end and back-end test automation and cloud-based environments
• Competency in designing, developing, and executing test plans, cases, and procedures manually and in automated setups
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and workflows
• Understanding of troubleshooting issues and debugging within complex testing scenarios
• Knowledge of Git
• Showcase of excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of CI/CD integration to enhance automated testing pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Experience conducting non-functional tests such as security or stress testing
