We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated Senior Automation Tester specializing in Java to join our QA team.
As part of our commitment to the QA generalist concept, the ideal candidate will be responsible for functional testing, automated testing, and performance testing across various projects. This includes working on REST API, MongoDB, Amazon services, and front-end testing for Angular applications.

Responsibilities

• Create automated software tools to verify and quantify the quality of the produced software
• Uncover, document, and track defects
• Improve test case execution efficiency and test coverage
• Perform automated Functional, Performance, and End-to-End Product and System tests
• Create training documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions
• Work in an agile development environment collaborating with the Engineering and Product teams to deliver quality software iteratively
• Integrate QA processes into Software Development and Release Cycles
• Troubleshoot issues in live, high availability systems
• Collaborate with the CI team to design ideal strategies for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
• Ensure compatibility and optimization across various software platforms

• 3+ years of Java development expertise
• 3+ years of proficiency in developing object-oriented Test automation scripts using Java, Selenium, TestNG, Maven, and JMeter
• 1+ years of familiarity with Continuous Integration, Jenkins, Git, and Spring Boot
• Background in AWS environments with a focus on SQS, Kinesis, API Gateway, Cloudwatch, and AWS step function testing
• Skills in automating testing of front-end, microservices, and serverless applications
• Capability to automate RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in CI/CD processes
