We are excited to welcome a Senior Automation Tester with expertise in Java to our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. Collaborating closely with developers and product teams, you will design and implement automated testing strategies that improve deployment processes and overall product performance. Your knowledge of testing tools and frameworks will be critical in supporting our continuous integration and delivery initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop functional, integration, and acceptance test cases to validate system functionality
  • Automate test cases for regression testing, functional testing, and smoke testing to streamline testing efforts
  • Plan and oversee automation tasks, ensuring adherence to team testing standards
  • Integrate testing cycles into DevOps pipelines to support continuous delivery processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently and creatively
  • Automate testing for backend services, including REST APIs, to ensure service reliability
  • Document and report defects to ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement
  • Manage test data and environments to support reliable and accurate testing
  • Maintain version control for test scripts to ensure consistency and traceability

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • At least three years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a minimum of two years in test automation development or a combination of development and testing roles
  • Extensive experience in REST and SOAP API testing, using tools such as SOAPUI and Groovy scripting
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining automation scripts to ensure systems and services meet acceptance criteria
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies and frameworks
  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities
  • Expertise in functional, integration, and regression testing approaches
  • Experience writing unit tests to ensure system robustness, including edge cases and usability
  • Solid knowledge of manual testing practices to complement automation efforts
  • Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to ensure clear collaboration across teams
  • Strong client-facing skills to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Proficiency in English at a B2+ level, both written and spoken
