Senior Automation Tester in Java

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Automation Tester in Java to join our team. This role requires a proficient tester capable of validating both API and UI tests while enforcing best practices in QA processes. The successful candidate will lead automation initiatives, collaborate with various teams to enhance testing processes, and contribute to overall quality assurance on the project.

Responsibilities

• Validate API/UI tests and write comprehensive automation scripts ensuring high quality
• Enhance testing processes in collaboration with domain and QA practice teams
• Contribute to team efforts by conducting POCs and troubleshooting technical issues
• Actively participate in frontend, backend, and integration testing
• Create test plans and test strategies as an expert in QA processes and tools
• Ensure alignment with Agile methodologies to promote seamless project execution
• Lead by example as a self-learner and proactive team member
• Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively relay complex information

• 3+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on Java environments
• Expertise in UI and backend automation testing using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, and RestAssured
• Proficiency in performance testing tools including Gatling, JMeter, and Blazemeter
• Competency in version control with Git
• Understanding of API performance Testing
• Background in using Test Case Management Tools such as Zephyr, XRay or TestRail
• Familiarity with API Integration and test automation
• Experience with Project Management tools like Rally or Jira
• Background in Postman for intermediate-level testing tasks
• B2+ English level proficiency

• Familiarity with database testing
• Competency in using multiple performance testing tools
• Previous exposure to Agile process improvements and adaptations
