Senior Application Support Analyst

We are currently seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst with expertise in Shell Scripting, SQL, Linux, Kubernetes and Cloud platforms (Databricks/Snowflake).
This role will focus on ensuring system stability, incident resolution, governance and automation while working in a 24-hour shift-based support model.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum system availability, providing accurate responses to IT issues
• Manage and govern Global Research Applications, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks
• Oversee the integration of new releases, patches and configuration changes, including post-release validation
• Lead knowledge sharing, documentation and cross-training initiatives to maximize team coverage
• Support and mentor team members, fostering collaboration and growth
• Act as a liaison between Business, Technology, and Functional teams, ensuring smooth communication and platform evolution
• Provide incident, problem, and release management updates to stakeholders
• Utilize automation tools to improve system performance and operational efficiency
• Drive IT governance and de-risking initiatives to maintain a stable IT environment

• Proficiency in Shell Scripting, SQL and Linux for troubleshooting and system management
• Experience in Kubernetes/Containerization platforms for modern application deployment
• Hands-on knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake or Cloud platforms for scalable data processing
• Strong understanding of ITIL service management, focusing on incident, change and production management
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to IT operations
• Strong communication skills, ensuring smooth collaboration with global teams
• Willingness to work in a 24-hour shift-based model, providing consistent IT support
