Responsibilities
  • Act as a peer to the Product Owner and ensure adequate representation of application design, development, and operations aspects within the backlog
  • Define the technical roadmap and support the Product Owner to prioritize technical stories
  • Estimate sizing of required development resources or - for vendor products - challenge the provided vendor estimations
  • Implement as Tech Lead the technical solutions to meet the business requirements and facilitate change prioritization from a technical perspective
  • Ensure implementation of non-functional requirements in collaboration with the Application Manager, leading to sustainable, stable, and maintainable application
  • Decide on production readiness in collaboration with the Product Owner and the Application Manager
  • Contribute to the Solution Blueprint and own the Solution Design, Security Concept, and Interface Agreement of the application
  • Establish a suitable and effective development and test environments for the application
  • Escalate risks and issues to the IT Governance
  • Occasional weekend work and on-call duty might be required
Requirements
  • Strong computer science fundamentals with 6-7+ years of professional software development experience with Java, JavaScript, Scout, Oracle/Postgres, REST interfaces, Jetty, ActiveMQ, PostgreSQL, IntelliJ, PyTorch and TensorFlow
  • Readiness and motivation to certify as a BSI developer Attend onsite and or virtual classes/trainings to become a certified BSI developer
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Banking knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in channels, client engagement portals
  • Experience with agile project methodologies
  • Dynamic and agile mindset, being passionate about change
  • Experience in operations/support
  • Able to work under pressure and manage a portfolio of tasks
  • Proven technical skills, especially with the respective vendor product and integration patterns
  • Relevant higher education and professional background within engineering or computer science
  • A self-motivated, communicative personality with a great interest in new challenges and an independent and responsible working attitude Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • German language is a big plus since some of the trainings and documentation are still in German
