We are looking for an experienced and highly talented Senior Android Developer who is an expert in designing, building, debugging, and maintaining Android-based applications. If you are skilled in these areas and meet all the requirements mentioned below, then this might be the perfect fit for you.

• Participate in the design and development of the new UBS Mobile Banking
• Code and deploy new features to production
• Work with external data sources and APIs
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to enhance development efficiency
• Provide technical solutions and ensure adherence to good software practices
• Collaborate with UX designers, architects, back-end development teams, and QA to deliver a high-quality product
• Create, manage and automate continuous testing of the features you deliver
• Contribute to the success of Mobile Excellence in UBS as part of a strong international team

• 5+ years of native Android (Java, Kotlin) development experience
• A graduate degree in IT Software Engineering
• Fundamental experience in designing secure, robust and scalable applications
• Positive attitude and a strong interest in shaping the future of technology in banking
• Familiarity with design principles
• Knowledge of Version Control Systems (Git)
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Experience in test-driven development, continuous integration, and deployment
• Showcase of high creativity in designing user-friendly applications
• Competency as a strong software engineer with a high dedication to app development
• Proficiency as an excellent team player
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues in English
• Analytical skills with the capability to tackle complex challenges in software engineering
