We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant (General Ledger) to join our global shared services team.
In this role, you will oversee critical financial activities such as bookkeeping, variance analysis, and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and driving process improvements across multiple subsidiaries.

Responsibilities
- US GAAP bookkeeping for specific activities, such as accruals and prepayments, for multiple EPAM subsidiaries
- Managing the monthly accounting close process for subsidiaries in SAP in line with established procedures
- Conducting monthly balance sheet and profit and loss variance analysis for assigned subsidiaries
- Investigating and ensuring the correct accounting of irregular and specific financial operations
- Overseeing the accounting and reconciliation of corporate card expenses according to established procedures
- Collaborating with local accountants/agencies on bookkeeping issues and process improvements during regular conference calls
- Assisting with audit requests and participating in meetings with external and internal auditors
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives with the IT development team, identifying areas for enhancement, and testing new solutions

- Background in Finance/Accounting with a strong understanding of international accounting
- Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience
- Familiarity with SAP (advantage) or other ERP systems
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of international accounting standards, with ACCA/DipIFR qualifications being an advantage
- Good English communication skills, with at least an Intermediate level
- Attentiveness to details and strong personal responsibility
- Capability to work and make decisions independently
- Readiness for continuous self-development with a demonstrated ability to adapt to changes
