Currently, we are looking for a Senior Accountant with German language knowledge to support our team in Austria and Germany.

• Take ownership of the payable process, including supervising of payments, handling vendor/employers' query process incoming vendor invoices
• Maintain fixed asset register and documentation
• Monitors, performs, and provides support for additional general ledger postings (payroll, billing, etc.)
• Contribute to a reliable and timely accounting closing in accordance with the company rules and procedures including tasks like calculating accruals, creating account reconciliation
• Cooperate with other departments to gather necessary documentation, prepare statistical reports
• Participate in tax audits and statutory audits and collect necessary data for tax returns based on the supervisor's instructions
• Assist the local finance team in investigating particular accounting issues and provide timely feedback
• Perform ad hoc tasks received from the management

• Higher education in Accounting field
• 5-8 years of relevant professional experience
• Fluent level of Hungarian and English and at least B2 level German
• Adequate Excel knowledge, working experience of SAP is an advantage
• Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and team player attitude
