Responsibilities
  • Contribute to end-to-end quality assurance, manage the testing request backlog, and complete testing requests
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Design, Product Management, and Engineering to facilitate testing efforts
  • Work with the Testing Lead to ensure timely, precise, and aligned completion of testing requests
  • Act as a thought leader in accessibility testing, making data-driven recommendations and influencing decisions
  • Mentor other accessibility testers and contribute to the creation of test plans, scripts, and documentation
  • Partner with the Accessibility Test Lead to develop and execute training plans for the testing team
  • Perform quality audits and identify opportunities to minimize errors
  • Demonstrate proficiency in complex products and operate independently
  • Lead by example to foster a positive, collaborative, and innovative team environment
  • Stay updated on evolving accessibility standards and industry trends
  • Continuously develop skills and knowledge in accessibility testing
Requirements
  • Experience in software development, web development, or a related field
  • Experience in an accessibility-related field
  • Understanding of WCAG 2.1 (AA) guidelines
  • Expert-level understanding of assistive technologies, accessibility-related software (e.g., JAWS, NVDA), and automated testing tools
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tools for logging and tracking bugs
  • Proven success in facilitating testing efforts across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated ability to create test plans and scripts
  • Ability to influence and define processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience interfacing with high-level stakeholders
