Security Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Security Solution Architect to drive the design, implementation, and governance of robust security solutions within our organization.
In this critical role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure systems, safeguard data, and champion security best practices across business initiatives.
This is a fully remote position that offers you the flexibility to work from any location in Armenia, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture development for projects and products, ensuring the integration of security requirements, detailed designs, and controls
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements and develop comprehensive security architecture documents for various initiatives
• Provide education on security frameworks, processes, standards, and guidelines to business and IT teams
• Conduct reviews of IT system and application designs, influencing architecture to align with security best practices
• Design solutions architecture for applications and technologies, aligned with business strategy and requirements
• Partner with product architects, platform architects, and solution architects to oversee architecture across multiple projects
• Identify and address deficiencies in systems while recommending innovative solutions for improvement
• Define principles, guidelines, and standards to maintain alignment with enterprise future-state security architecture
• Direct governance activities for solution architecture to ensure compliance with security policies
• Advance secure development standards and foster an organizational security-by-design approach
• Create threat models and collaborate with development teams to identify and integrate appropriate security controls
• Provide expert advice to development and testing teams on remediating coding vulnerabilities across programming languages
• Shape and contribute to application and product security policies, ensuring seamless integration of security into product design
• Advocate for security excellence across organizational teams, customers, and partners

• 3-4 years of experience in application security within a software application technology business
• Strong knowledge of application security vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10, with hands-on experience using SAST tools, DAST tools, OWASP ZAP, or WhiteHat Sentinel
• Proficiency in both cloud-based and on-premise technology products and applications
• Solid background in collaborating with diverse, global organizations
• Deep expertise in technologies that safeguard data collection, organization, and processing
• Advanced understanding of enterprise architecture concepts and tools within IT services and solution technologies
• Proficiency in Cloud Architecture, data/application security in the cloud, and integration patterns for hybrid implementations
• Experience with emerging tools and solutions relevant to Enterprise Architecture
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate solutions and recommend optimal approaches based on logic and reason
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and organizational levels
• Hands-on experience implementing security controls and using methodologies like agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps
• Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration across regions and functional segments
• Strong expertise in cybersecurity to deliver credible recommendations and drive organizational change
