We are seeking an experienced SAP CAR Consultant with a strong background in retail and extensive knowledge of SAP CAR's POSDTA functionality. The ideal candidate will be proficient in ABAP development, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for staying updated on the latest trends in SAP CAR and HANA technologies. Your role will involve designing, configuring, and customizing the POSDTA module to meet our client's specific needs and industry best practices. You will play a key role in various projects requiring CAR content or data from the related HANA environment.

As a SAP CAR Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering solutions in SAP CAR and specifically on POSTA applications. This includes covering areas such as inbound interfaces, transaction processing in PIPE, outbound interfaces to SAP ECC and 3rd party environments, and native HANA capabilities for transaction processing and reporting. You will also provide day-to-day functional support, application administration, and troubleshooting for all European Operating Companies in scope, in liaison with the vendor support organization.

This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, a well-equipped office in Tbilisi or coworking spaces in Batumi and Kutaisi.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize your strong background in retail and extensive knowledge of SAP CAR's POSDTA functionality
  • Design, configure, and customize the POSDTA module to meet client needs and industry best practices
  • Contribute to projects requiring CAR content or data from the related HANA environment
  • Lead and coordinate CAR projects and solution implementation in collaboration with IT demand and regional IT teams
  • Study and review system deployments, identifying opportunities to optimize stability and performance
  • Monitor and supervise system usage and statistics, setting up and developing system audits
  • Utilize ABAP programming skills to develop custom functionalities and enhancements within SAP CAR
  • Have knowledge of native HANA development for the creation and maintenance of HANA Calculation Views
  • Stay updated on the SAP roadmap for CAR and HANA, adopting new techniques and functions to keep the platform aligned with industry trends
Requirements
  • Proficiency in SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR) is a must
  • Experience in working within the Agile framework and the Retail industry is desirable
  • Minimum English proficiency level of B1 or higher is required
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel
