We are looking for an SAP Basis Engineer for Banking Services 9.0 who will be working in an international team in Zurich which is responsible for designing, developing, testing and operating our client's solution.
The system is a critical part of our client's banking infrastructure and manages all client cash and savings accounts in Switzerland and internationally. It plays an utmost crucial role within the day-end-processing, quarter-end and especially in the year-end processing of the bank. The solution, based on an off-the-shelf product from SAP - "SAP Banking Services 9.0", specifically uses the cash subledger capability.

Responsibilities
- Administrate and operate our SAP Systems
- Propose and implement systems enhancements
- Monitor usage, performance and troubleshoot software and SAP Kernel issues
- Analyze complexity and feasibility of new or changed environment requirements
- Install, configure, test and implement SAP Systems
- Analyze outages and defective states, initiating and monitoring measures to remedy them
- Administrate and operate connection between SAP and our z/OS DB2 database system
- Support creation of authorization concepts with role specifications
- Support system copies, release changes, installation of patches and system monitoring
- Support our initiative with in-depth S/4 HANA expertise
- Comprehensive experience in the administration of SAP Systems
- Profound experience regarding installation of SAP Support Packages, SAP Security Notes, SAP Kernel updates and SAP related installations on AIX
- Experience in handling SAP System copies on DB2 and client copies
- Ability to handle day to day SAP Basis tasks like transport management, opening OSS connection requesting Access keys, applying SAP and HANA Licenses, handling "filesystem full" issues
- Experience of integration between SAP Systems and Solution Manager
- Additional experience/knowledge of z/OS Mainframe, DB2 on z/OS, z/OS JCL, z/OS datasets would be significant advantages
