The candidate will be responsible for verifying the behavior of our OTT video application across web, mobile, and smart TV platforms. This role involves ensuring the app meets the highest quality standards and provides an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Execute test plans (e2e) and test cases for the OTT video app on web, mobile, and smart TV platforms
  • Monitor app performance and usability to meet user expectations and industry standards
  • Identify, document, and report bugs and issues found during testing
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that resolved issues do not reoccur

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role, with experience in testing OTT video applications
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Familiarity with web, mobile (Android, iOS), and smart TV platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience using tools like Postman to validate APIs
  • Knowledge of tools like Charles and Wireshark to analyze network traffic
  • Experience working with Jira for project management and bug tracking
  • Knowledge of streaming protocols such as DASH and HLS
  • Understanding of DRM technologies including Widevine and PlayReady
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other QAs, developers, and UX designers in a team environment
