Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (IT) to manage the implementation of a solution by an external vendor.

The successful candidate will take charge of project management and ensure it is aligned with the objectives.

The position involves extensive travel to collaborate directly with stakeholders and oversee the deployment's progress, risks, and obstacles.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Greece.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the vendor's delivery of the external solution
  • Monitoring adherence to the project plan
  • Developing a strategy for communication
  • Addressing risks tied to the project
  • Supervising the acceptance and deliverables process
  • Communicating status updates to customer stakeholders at all levels
  • Helping validate and define requirements in line with solution capabilities
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams for project achievement
  • Leading problem-solving and decision-making activities

  • Minimum of 7 years of Project Management experience in IT projects, preferably in the industrial sector
  • Proficient knowledge of Project Management principles (PMI or PRINCE2, etc.)
  • Proven ability to manage solution delivery from external vendors / contractors
  • Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with experience in the industrial sector preferred
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in Greek
  • English language skills at a B2 level or higher
  • Ability to be assertive
  • Capacity for empathy and influence
Nice to have
  • Profound knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
