ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a highly technical, proactive and people-smart Delivery Director with expertise in the software services industry to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading large-scale engagements, managing diverse teams and maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of business case-oriented delivery and agile methodologies.

You will be working alongside globally renowned and award-winning design, development and technology teams who are passionate about what they do and how they do it. You will play a key role in building strong business and technology relationships, take a 'hands on' approach to define, deliver and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage digital programmes with an annual budget of £10M+
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure best results in delivery and support additional growth in new areas
  • Coordinate and manage teams and portfolios of 80+ consultants and engineers across onshore, nearshore Europe and offshore Indian locations
  • Maintain strong client relationships, across technology, product and operational areas
  • Establish themselves as the trusted delivery partner
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects, meeting agreed upon outcomes and business objectives within agreed time and cost constraints
  • Work comfortably between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment
  • Apply agile methodologies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain excellent delivery health (quantitative and qualitative)
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital delivery combined with experience leading and managing diverse teams
  • Strong client engagement skills, with the ability to confidently interact with VP and C-level stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of business case-oriented delivery with experience in measuring outcomes
  • Experience delivering projects using agile methodologies
  • Ability to work comfortably between business and technical teams
  • At least 3 examples of full lifecycle delivery and understanding of the business impact of such implementation
  • Able to act as a consultative partner, providing mentoring and coaching of teams to deliver against shared objectives
  • Ideally experience in banking and financial services
Nice to have
  • Degree qualification or equivalent delivery experience
  • Agile Project or Programme certification (e.g. Scrum, SAFe) or equivalent
