Responsibilities
- Act as a Databricks SME, advocating for best practices and driving innovation in data solutions
- Partner with clients to define and execute data strategies, leveraging Databricks for maximum impact
- Design, develop and implement enterprise-level data platforms using Databricks and cloud technologies
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders to secure buy-in and funding for data-driven initiatives
- Translate complex business needs into scalable Databricks solutions for ML/AI and advanced analytics
- Provide hands-on implementation, troubleshooting and optimization of Databricks environments
- Lead delivery teams, ensuring successful execution of projects and high client satisfaction
- Foster strong client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted Databricks advisor
- Identify opportunities to expand EPAM's footprint within client accounts and drive revenue growth
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Databricks certifications (e.g., Databricks Certified Data Engineer, Databricks Certified ML Practitioner)
- Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies in Databricks
- Extensive experience in Data & Analytics, with a strong focus on Databricks and ML/AI platforms
- Proven expertise in Databricks, including hands-on implementation, performance optimization and architecture design
- Deep understanding of cloud-based data architectures (Azure, AWS or GCP) and their integration with Databricks
- Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in translating business requirements into actionable data solutions
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decision-making
- Experience in leading delivery teams and ensuring successful project execution
- Track record of building and growing client relationships, acting as a thought leader and strategic partner
