We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team in enhancing and scaling our business applications.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing full-scale applications using Node.js, ensuring optimal performance, and contributing innovative solutions for our technology-driven environment.
Please note, office work 5 days from the EPAM office in Gdansk is required.

  • Design and develop software using a microservice architecture approach
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate 3rd party APIs
  • Participate in the development of new features from scratch
  • Follow best practices and continuously improve processes

  • 5+ years of web development experience with a strong knowledge of JavaScript and ECMAScript 6 standards
  • 3+ years of commercial experience working with Node.js and Nest.js
  • Background in working with both SQL and NoSQL high load databases
  • Proficiency in implementing enhanced communication protocols such as REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets
  • Understanding and implementation of microservice architecture principles
  • Familiarity with GIT version control
  • Experience in message brokers such as RabbitMQ
  • Capability to utilize Redis for caching
  • Experience managing MongoDB and MySQL databases
  • Knowledge of TDD principles and test writing
  • Intermediate level proficiency in English
Nice to have
  • 2+ years of experience developing over CI/CD & Microservices architecture with containers
  • Experience using Kubernetes and Nats
  • Knowledge of TypeScript
