Responsibilities
- Analyze, maintain, and improve existing code
- Develop and optimize REST API services
- Implement unit and integration tests
- Diagnose and solve performance and code quality issues
- Manage JPA/Hibernate to interact with Oracle databases
- Work with Bitbucket repositories and Git workflows
- Deploy and manage services
- Document code improvements and refactorings
- Collaborate with the team to identify and reduce technical debt
- Solid experience in Java (preferably with JDK 21 or recent versions)
- Experience with Spring Boot 3.0.0 and its ecosystem (Spring Data, Spring Security, etc.)
- Proficiency in JPA/Hibernate and relational databases (preferably Oracle)
- Knowledge of automated testing with JUnit and Mockito
- Experience developing REST APIs
- Familiarity with Bitbucket and good Git practices
- Ability to work independently and solve problems without constant supervision
- B2+ English level
- Knowledge of OpenShift
- Experience in refactoring legacy code
- Familiarity with monitoring and performance tools in Java environments
- Understanding of design patterns and good coding practices
