Middle Go Developer

We are seeking a talented Middle Go Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our cutting-edge applications. You will play a pivotal role in improving the functionality, scalability, and performance of the systems while collaborating with a distributed team of experts.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Go as the primary programming language
• Analyze, debug, and troubleshoot application issues ensuring high-quality performance and reliability
• Operate and develop monitoring products such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, and New Relic
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain clear communication to drive delivery within distributed environments
• Enhance and support Docker-based applications for scalable deployments
• Monitor and optimize container orchestrators like Kubernetes for effective operations
• Manage public cloud services at scale with exposure to AWS or GCP
• Develop and maintain highly performant database technologies including PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Work on messaging queues such as Kafka and improve web-server operations including Apache and Nginx
• Contribute to continuous integration workflows, effective system monitoring, and automation processes

• 2+ years of working experience in software development
• Proficiency in Go or other programming languages like Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, or C++ coupled with strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
• Background in developing or operating monitoring products including Elastic Observability, ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, or Datadog
• Familiarity with cloud service platforms like AWS or GCP and ability to manage systems at scale
• Expertise in container orchestration and Docker-based application deployment
• Showcase of working experience in database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and messaging queues like Kafka
• Understanding of web-server management with Apache, Nginx, and exposure to open-source contributions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to work in a distributed team

• Interest in learning and adopting new technologies
• Hands-on experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) operations
• Experience in SRE or DevOps roles focusing on system reliability and performance
• Capability to monitor and manage containerized workloads at scale
• Background in developing and deploying cloud-native applications
