Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, analyze, and test mechanical systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions
- Communicate complex engineering concepts effectively to diverse audiences
- Ensure high-quality documentation and adherence to industry standards
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent from an accredited program
- 2-4 years of applied mechanical engineering experience
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (prototype and production-level), laboratory work, and shop practices
- Experience designing and executing proof-of-concept prototypes
- Solid theoretical mechanical engineering background
- Experience working medical technology/devices preferred
