We are currently seeking a highly skilled Magento Engineer to join our EPAM PHP Solutions department.

The ideal candidate will work on the Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform, leveraging Agile methodologies, the most up-to-date technologies, and Continuous Integration practices.

Our goal is to build a team of professionals who can contribute to the development of one of the most popular e-commerce solutions in the world.
This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

  • Develop modules from scratch
  • Support and development of the existing code base
  • Examine and clarify project requirements and documentation
  • Follow and understand established development processes
  • Oral and written communication with clients (task resolution status, clarification of requirements)
  • Migrate Magento 1 code to Magento 2
  • Implement GraphQL APIs for a React frontend
  • Develop Magento customizations according to clients business needs

  • Strong Magento 2 experience, ideally with Magento full stack knowledge
  • Competency in GraphQL, and ideally Headless Magento skills
  • Expertise in microservice / API-driven Magento architectures
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies
  • Continuous Integration practices
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Infrastructure/deployment/DevOps knowledge
